ok, i'm not normally this wordy, i apologize, but i thought i would explain this piece a bit. i am working on a series of assemblage pieces from the menagerie of madame madgrigorium, a character i came up with who sells you whatever talent or character trait you desire in the form of a seemingly random conglomeration of curios; medicine show style.
in reality, they are the memories, imagination and essence of unfortunate others she has come across that have a particular knack for this or that, and once she has worked her magic she gathers the trinkets and dead flowers and bones of loved dogs, long since dead that are left behind, the tangible essence of the soul of a man, and puts them in her shop for the highest bidder.
